We all made random (yet not so random) groups and were set tasks throughout the day. This is my team—Pummie, Julie, Mark, Rebecca, June, Pink and Ivan. Each group had the task of creating a costume for an elected member from newspaper and tings..... As you can see, Mark is wearing the very latest in broadsheet trends for any aspiring street wizard. Pretty good? Well that’s what we thought until we started to look at the other groups creations. To be fair though, Mark is of course of male gender, and it goes without saying that men only have four looks which they can pull off... Suit and tie, smart cajsh, tramp chique and of course wizard.

Can you believe that?! I have never in my life seen such beauty sculpted from newspapers! Incredible. Belle (Left), looks fantastic in that off the shoulder number with the fan-tail pleated skirt. The parasol and hat cap the look, perfect for any young eco-centric Bangkok-ite. Mark (Centre left) is as described in the text above. Suki, is the statue of liberty, except I think she does abetter job! Finally.... Oh I can’t remember her name! (The girl on the right) - that’s really annoying. But the Native Indian influence can be felt in the beautiful headwear she is donning which is also reflected in the adaptation of the classic mini-skirt. Whilst fun is poked at the cowboys with the fake leather shammy tassels An all round fantastic effort.

After the dressing up task we had to complete various team tasks.... Our team lost emphatically... We were cheating, but we still had a strong team spirit!!

Afterwards, we had a few hours of free time before the awards ceremony. Here we have one of a series of a few action pics. Dave Jones I am posing for you!
